Made in Gloucestershire launches new video to showcase county’s world-class food and drink scene

20 April 2023

Gloucestershire’s history of innovation means the county is home to hundreds of exceptional, award-winning food and drink producers.

Made in Gloucestershire, a GFirst LEP not-for-profit initiative, has put these incredible producers in the spotlight with a new showcase video highlighting the best of Gloucestershire’s food and drink scene – produced by local videographer Cotswold TV.

The video carries a warning however; it will make your mouth water and tummy rumble!

“We are completely spoilt with Gloucestershire’s brilliant food and drink - whether you’re a resident of our county or one of the millions of tourists we welcome every year.

Punching well above our weight, the food and drink produced in Gloucestershire is world-class and we are so proud to be able to champion the sector, providing the recognition and attention it deserves.

Following a tough few years, we wanted to back our hospitality sector and help it recover so Made in Gloucestershire was born. Since launching in July last year, our aim is to get everyone and every business buying and supporting local wherever possible.

Our new video will temp your taste buds to explore our directory of over 120+ food and drink businesses to support.

A huge thank you to Tom at Cotswold TV who worked with us to create a video smorgasbord of Gloucestershire’s finest produce.” – Dev Chakraborty, Deputy CEO of GFirst LEP.

The video features over 40 local businesses from across the county including: Hayles Fruit Farm, Giffords Circus Sauce Restaurant, KNEAD Bakery, Purslane Restaurant, Priors Tipple, Sibling Distillery, Wholly Gelato, Jolly Nice Farm Shop, Todenham Manor Farm, Severn & Wye Smokery, Woodchester Valley Vineyard, Waterside Kitchen & Bar, The BBQ Society, Truffle Hunter, JR Cakes, Dunkertons, Cerney Cheese, Cherry Moo Icecream, Blockley Café, The Cotswold Show, Godsells Cheese, Jesse Smith, Fire & Flow Coffee, Café au Chocolat, The Woolpack, Severn Cider, Poulton Hill Estate, Wolfys, Prithvi, Waghornes Butcher, Yubberton Brewery, Forest Bakehouse, Capreolus Distillery, King Stone Diary, Tubby Toms, Creed, The Old Fox Coaley, Born Wild Tea, Cotswold Ice Creams, Ebrington Arms, Old Farm Dorn, Kitchen Garden and The Ship Inn Brimscombe.
