TR7 launches UK Headquarters in Cheltenham

The Invest in Gloucestershire team were very proud to welcome load balancing and web application firewall company TR7 to the county this week as they opened their UK HQ office in Eagle Tower, Cheltenham this month.

TR7 co-founders, Ömer Günel and Kürsad Yusuf Konus announced earlier this year that they were planning on establishing their new headquarters in Gloucestershire as they look to expand their business globally.

The decision to relocate to Cheltenham stemmed from the region's standing as the UK's largest cyber cluster outside of London. This strategic move aligns with their commitment to advancing research and development in the cybersecurity and web application delivery sector. They feel Gloucestershire contains a diverse ecosystem that attracts companies from various domains, including artificial intelligence, cyber defence, IoT, and software development.

The company have made their first new UK hire, appointing Sevgi Aksoy as UK Director of Operations and their intention is to steadily grow the workforce as the business develops and expands.

The Invest in Gloucestershire team were instrumental in supporting TR7 on their quest to establish a UK office and are looking forward to supporting them as they bed down into Gloucestershire's business community.
